Riley was lost on 10/12 in the afternoon. We brought out search dogs and have posted signs and still we have not found out dog.

Dog Lotus Stolen over a year and a half ago. (san jose south)

Lotus was stolen on May 2007. I'm very frustrated she hasn't been returned. I'm never going to stop looking! She had tags with all my contact information and she has a Home-Again Micro-chip. There are no signs of her at the local Animal shelters or DOA reports on her. My only conclusion is that someone has illegally taken her for their own. I'm begging all you Craiglisters to keep your eyes and ears open and notify me if anyone has my Lotus.
Lotus has a very high pitch bark that she inherited from her Maltese mother. While on the leash she pulls like a crazy mad women especially if she knows there is another dog close in the area. Lotus does not sit still in the car but when she does she will crawl up between your neck and the head-rest. She also piddles when she gets really excited. Lotus didn't like to out in the cold and rain and often went potty in the house. She had her issues, but we still loved her.

I've been here for almost a month and though I'm grateful to everyone here for taking real good care of me, I think it's time for a change in scenary. If you are a responsible human and are ready for a new best friend and you promise not to neglect me or hit me or leave me in the hot sun or freezing rain or let me go out at all and feed me at least twice a day (because I'm a puppy)and especially give me protection against fleas, other dogs that are mean, that horrible puppy discease (parvo) and keep me safe from getting ran over. Remember I'm a puppy (a baby) so please be patient as I learn the rules (potty training) and I will do my best to make you happy and laugh. I promise I'll love you and be your best friend forever. But please make sure your landlord allows pets and make sure you really, really want me, because I don't want you to break my heart with some lame excuss why you have to bring me back here in which case it could be even more difficult to find another home because I won't be as cute as I am now. And I never, ever want to be this sad and scared again.

Somehow the hard drive on my now-nonfunctional Compaq laptop disappeared and was replaced by an HP drive that did not contain the files I had on the Compaq. I was unable to back these files up before the drive's disappearance, and it really bothers me, because it represented my work product and life memories of the last couple years. It also included some files of other people's copyrighted images or my own photographic and painted images of sacred spaces and objects, images the owners of which as well as the guardians of the sacred locations depicted, I had assured that I would not allow to be published without their permission.

Moreover, it contained images I had photographed while on camping trips to China Camp and in Half Moon Bay which are my memories and images of a year of homelessness, some of which I had hoped to sell as calendar or postcard or poster images and/or use as illustrations in a book i hoped to write about my experience. It contained irreplaceable images of a priest friend of mine, the last photographs of him I was able to take before he shipped out to Iraq as a chaplain (which means they are, potentially but God willing, not, the last photos of him I might ever be able to take); irreplaceable photos of nieces and nephews at a party, including some new ones whose father had married into my family which I had promised the bride and groom I would email to them and which I never got a chance to send, which are now in the hand of a stranger.

Finally, it contained some drafts of poems which I do not have recorded anywhere else and which have never been published anywhere with my permission and which I hoped to include in a book proposal or submit for publication in a magazine.

It has been missing since approximately September, I think; I did not discover the theft until some months later because my computer died and I didn't get another one until just a few weeks ago through the kindness of someone who donated an old (G3) iBook, so I couldn't look at the files on the hard drive in the Compaq (which, when I looked, turned out to be an HP drive; granted, they did merge at some point, but since it didn't have the right files on it, and one of the mounting screws on the hard drive cover was stripped, I'm guessing it was a replacement when the "borrower" took the one with all my work on it). I tried to report this to the Palo Alto Police but I don't think they took it seriously. Around the same time an expired passport went missing from my room and I think someone has been trying to steal my identity for several years, but again, they don't take it seriously because I'm poor and have bad credit. There are other reasons someone might want my identity, among them, a valid California law license, artistic and poetic work product, eligibility for financial and medical benefits based on disability, and prescription medications.

I was driving on the 101 toward the bay bridge on Wed Nov 26.
I saw a terrified cat, soaking wet, and sitting frozen on the interchange wall.
He had been there for sometime and was covered with grease and dirt.
He has no tags and is not fixed.
If you have lost your cat please let me know, as he was in pretty bad shape. His paw pads were bleeding and he was in shock for about three days.
He is doing much better now, and has had a bath, and is eating and purring.

I cannot keep him, so please if you have lost your cat and care to have him back, please email me.

I do not want to put him in a shelter as he deserves to have a wonderful life after what he has been through.

It is a black Olympus FE-340 digital camera and was in a small grey zip case. We're mostly interested in the photographs. We cannot remember the cab company but think it might have been a Luxor cab.

My black Suv/ford/excersion was carjacked on Nov. 20th in Auburn CA. We do not know the direction of travel that the vehicle took as it sped off. Inside the vehicle was my black and white border collie, he is neutered and a adult. He has thinning hair towards the tip of his tail as well as on the back of his paws. He is a medium sized, with the typical white mask to his black nose. His ears areall black and the mask stops at his eyes which are black, they are not perked up, they are down and at times possibly half up. He has a little fringe on his legs, as well as one mostly black front leg and the other has white about to his first joint. He has a nervous habit of licking his feet and especially during this stressful time could be very depressed. He is not a jumper and is very calm and well behaved. He is my companion due to the fact that I am disabled, he is always by my side every where I go. He is my heart and a innocent victim of circumstances. The suspect did not intend to take the dog but he sped off not knowing that he was in the vehicle, The Lic.# of the car is IUE560. You do have a couple of male border collies that do not show their photos. Reno, my border collie also had a benign cyst, just a bubble under the skin, the black hair at the base of his tail, near the buttocks/ on the tail. His feet a very sensitive to touch and his nails where due to be trimmed, they may still be very long, but that could have changed if someone clipped them and it is unknown what the dog has gone through. He is taught to do a drop and roll over on command. Look at him and tell him as you point to the ground and make you hand go in a circle. He also sits and downs on command. He is very good and will lay down calmly. He is very gentle and compatable with other dogs as well as birds and cats. He is very good with children but would rather not be bothered. He is living with four other dogs, three cats, pigeons, children ages, 1,3,6 and 16years old. This crime that was committed is a active investigation with lt. Burns of the Auburn Police Dept.
